Set sail with your team to battle on the open ocean! In this board discovery game, students compete in groups to uncover as many spaces of the map as possible.
The game is customizable with three different maps. Questions can be displayed on screen or not. |

Game Features
Select from 3 different maps for different length of play.
- The lake for a board of 9 squares.
- The sea for a board of 16 squares.
- The ocean for a board of 25 squares.
Select and play with 6 different vikings.
HOW TO PLAY
1. Start a new game.
2. Select the amount of student teams, the map and to display questions on screen or not*.
3. Select a viking and name for each team of students.
4. Start the game by asking the first team to select a square.
5a. Ask a question to the first team. If they answer correctly, the square will be revealed and the team will receive 1 point.
5b. If a boat is discovered, a second question will be asked and if correct, the team will receive an additional 3 points.
5c. If the sea monster is discovered, a second question will be asked and if correct, the team will receive an additional 5 points.
6. The game will continue until the entire map has been revealed. The team with the most points wins.
*Deciding not to display questions on screen will allow teachers to ask a question aloud, add supporting material in a separate window (a video, an audio, a larger math problem, etc.) and use the game without making it content dependent.
